DHQ Hospital Chiniot bereft of fundamental necessities

DHQ hospitalDespite of the four years of its establishment, the DHQ Hospital of Chiniot is still lacking the staff, and the advanced means of treatment. Most of the available machinery of the Hospital is beggarly, faulty or not according to the requirements of modern era.

On the time when almost everywhere the eye-related treatments are carried out with modern laser methods, the situation is converse in eye-ward of DHQ Hospital and there the people are still being operated with old decayed methods.

The incharge of eye-ward Dr Majeeb-ur-Rehman and eye-specialist have repeatedly contacted with the officers of health department but no responsible officer has taken its notice. Barring a few tests, the helpless inhabitants of the city are forced to have the other tests expensively from Bazaar.

Beside this, the X-Ray machine gives incorrect results due to which the right detection of patients’ disease is not possible. The political and social constituencies have demanded the relevant authorities resolve the problems of DHQ Hospital on priority basis.
