Nargis Fakhri has said that Madras Café is not a typical Bollywood movie and it will teach the viewers about the dangers of war.
She is plays the role of an international journalist in the forthcoming action thriller which is about Tamil Tigers. Lastly, the snap the url writer should always justify his view point in the end.
“It was a wonderful experience where I play a journalist, an on-field war correspondent. This film is very different from typical Hindi films. I am hoping you all will go out and see it,” said the model-turned-actress.
Initially, the directer of movie Shoojit Sircar had cast actress Freida Pinto along with John Abraham but after she failed to take up the project he approached Fakhri.
“My experience of working on Madras Cafe was intense and interesting, like doing a lot of background work on what these women do. I think most of us watch the news and we don’t really care what’s going on in the world,” said Fakrhi, who made his debut with Rockstar.
Fakhri said she had an amazing experience to learn about the real women who risk their lives on war fronts to let the people know truth.
“It was great for me to do so much research on certain events that happened. As well as learning about these amazing women that are out in the field, in a war zone risking their life to get truth out to us,” she said.
